Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. The professor is also head of the Center for Public Policy Research. It is widely believed that she was the one who beginning the current research into the study of witness memory as well as child victimes as witness in court contexts. Prof. Goodman has published numerous papers she has received grants from numerous sources and been recognized with numerous national and international prizes. She has provided advice on policy and research to many agencies and departments across the world. She is currently a advisor to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center at Sacramento County Child Protective Services (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center). She is a part of a variety of professional organizations that include Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is a member of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a founding Member and International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman was the president of American Psychological Association Divisions for Policy for Children and Families and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
